Recovery Policy

Two Paths. No Exceptions.

Two and only two cryptographic recovery paths exist. No exceptions. No tier exemptions. These are not policies — they are mathematical invariants.

Cryptographic Image Identity Card

At registration, Anyaugo generates a unique 512×512 procedural image derived from your hardware fingerprint — a visual hash unique to your deployment. This image is embedded with an HMAC-signed QR code and delivered as a downloadable PDF.

Print this document. Laminate it. Store it with your most important physical documents. It cannot be regenerated.

During recovery: photograph the laminated card. The system verifies the QR signature and matches the hardware record. On success, the SLA queue is entered at your tier level.

Biometric Liveness Verification

Anyaugo binds to the hardware security module native to each platform: TPM 2.0 on Windows and Linux, Apple Secure Enclave on macOS and iOS, and Android BiometricPrompt (hardware-backed keystore) on Android. Raw biometric data is never transmitted or accessible to the application on any platform.

Additionally: a live blink challenge. A random number between 1 and 4 is displayed. You must blink exactly that many times with the left eye. Pre-recorded video and printed photographs cannot pass this challenge.

Both hardware biometric and left-eye blink must pass in the same session. Either alone is insufficient.

Account Loss Policy

If neither Path I nor Path II succeeds within three attempts each, the node state engine executes a permanent wipe. The deployment is destroyed with no recovery possible. No exceptions at any tier level.

This policy is acknowledged explicitly at registration. The friction is real. The security is real. This is what institutional-grade protection requires.

Grace Period & Reset Rules

  • Downgrade (e.g. Top Tier → Premium): a 30-day grace period begins. If you return to the original tier within 30 days, the badge and streak are preserved.
  • If you remain in the lower tier beyond 30 days, the badge resets to zero and counting restarts from the current tier's requirement (6 or 9 months).
  • Yo-yo disqualification: switching Elite → non-Elite → Elite permanently breaks the Elite badge track. You can never re-earn the Elite Loyalty Badge — you will be counted as a non-Elite subscriber from that point forward.
